Toyota is beginning to stage media briefings in
preparation for its April launch, but really most of
the key details are based around one simple stat: MPGs.
According to the EPA, the new Toyota
Prius will achieve 49 mpg on the highway and 50
mpg in the city - a number that hypermilers will have
little problem increasing.
.
Of course, in addition to the increased fuel economy
the new Prius will be a bit bigger and faster, while
offering a number of other cool new features, such as
solar-powered ventilation.
Still, the Prius is the king of hybrid
cars because of its fuel economy. With an expected
price increase on the new Prius coming, is a 10
percent increase in fuel economy enough?
