Incentives
to buy hybrid vehicles

Ford
is offering some nice financial incentives on hybrids in
some areas
How many incentives do you really need to buy a hybrid
vehicle? Foreign oil dependency is threatening our
national security. Pollution from automobiles is
threatening our health and almost certainly causing global
warming.
How much is it worth to you to do the right thing? How
much is it worth to invest in a better future for your
family, for your children?
O.K. So, I'm overly optimistic - just a silly, utopian
dreamer. You need a few financial incentives to buy a
hybrid. Well, even for those with less altruistic motives,
hybrid
cars can still be a great deal.
For example, even though the world's best selling hybrid
vehicle, the Toyota
Prius, now only qualifies for 1/2 the federal clean
vehicle tax credit, Toyota is offering leases as as
low as $219 per month, or o percent financing for 2 years.
In addition, Toyota is offering low interest financing on
the Highlander
hybrid as well.
Still, the best hybrid incentives are coming from Ford. In
many areas you can finance an Escape
hybrid at 0 percent for 3 years plus $1000.00 cash
back, or you can buy outright and take $2000.00 cash back.
Even better, the Mercury
Mariner hybrid can be financed for 5 years at 0
percent plus $655 cash back, or if you don't finance, you
can receive $3155.00 cash back.
Again, many of these deals are only available in some
regions of the country. Still, knowing this information
should give you some negotiation power when you go out and
buy your hybrid vehicle.
So, make your next vehicle purchase, a hybrid vehicle
purchase. There is plenty of choice. More important, there
are plenty of incentives, in addition to knowing that you
are investing in a better future.
