Porsche has now confirmed that an additional hybrid vehicle will be developed by Porsche. Already, Porsche plans to launch the Cayenne hybrid in 2009. Sometime thereafter, Porsche will also begin producing the Porsche Panamera hybrid.
Porsche has now confirmed that an additional hybrid vehicle will be developed by Porsche. Already, Porsche plans to launch the Cayenne hybrid in 2009. Sometime thereafter, Porsche will also begin producing the Porsche Panamera hybrid.
The hybrid four-door sedan will utilize the same hybrid powertrain as the Cayenne hybrid. Thus, both will be full hybrid vehicles, meaning that can run on electricity only at low speeds.
While there are few details regarding the Panamera, it appears that the Panamera will be powered by a 34 kw electric motor coupled with 3.6 liter V-6 and a 6 speed transmission.
Pricing will probably be around $100,000.00.
