Some of the details surrounding the Lexus LS 600h L have not yet been released as the 600h L is still several months away from release. Still, this vehicle was a show stopper at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The LS 600h L will be the world's first V8 hybrid vehicle and is meant to compete with V12 European luxury sedans. Consequently, Lexus is hoping to achieve V12 performance with the 600h L hybrid sedan, but with V8 fuel efficiency.
Early reports indicate the newest Lexus hybrid will generate about 430 hp to all four wheels and will only be sold in a long-wheelbase version. Of course it will be fully loaded.
While there is no pricing yet, expect the 600h L to be significantly more expensive than the conventional model. Nonetheless, based on the reception at the Los Angeles Auto Show, expect the Lexus LS 600h L to be a hot selling luxury vehicle.
