Most that have ever bought a car haven't really
enjoyed the process. Somehow, you always feel like you
are being ripped off. For the buyers of hybrid
cars its even worse lately, with huge dealer
markups on hybrids.
Yet, when the car is bought, the owners of hybrid
vehicles still cannot sever their relationship with
the dealer very easily. Since most mechanics are not
as knowledgeable regarding hybrid technology as most
dealers selling these vehicles, most hybrid consumers
feel compelled to take their hybrids back to the
dealer for any servicing.
And, regardless of the make, dealing with these
service departments seems to leave a bad taste in the
