as early as this week, in an attempt to derail a

Unbelievable. Automakers
have until 2016 to achieve about a 30 percent gain in
efficiency. Today, hybrid
cars, such as the Toyota
Prius, already accomplish that goal. To think that
in 11 years, automakers can't achieve this goal means
one thing: Get out of business!
The technology is
there. Yes there might be costs, but automakers have had
decades to accept some responsibility for the pollution
they have created, on their own terms.
