According to Kelly Blue Book, the Honda Civic hybrid offers 52 percent resale value after 36 months, and 36 percent after 60 months.
At 44 mpg the Civic hybrid offers some of the best hybrid fuel economy in the industry, and with best in class resale value, the Honda Civic hybrid deserves to be on your your hybrid shopping list.
In second place for 2012, is the Lexus CT 200h hybrid, the hot selling luxury hybrid from Lexus that offers up to 42 mpg.
According to Kelly Blue Book, the Lexus CT 200h hybrid retains 52.5 percent of its resale value after 36 months, and 34.5 percent after 60 months.
And, in third place is the 2012 Lincoln MKZ hybrid.
The 41 mpg MKZ hybrid retains 50 percent of its value after 36 months, and 33 percent after 60 months.
Certainly, resale value isn't the only thing that hybrid buyers should concern themselves with, but it's still a good metric to keep in mind when you are out hybrid shopping.
