Dynamic Building pushes green building to new heights

The future of building

By 2010, the world will see what might be a revolution in green building: self-sufficient and self-rotating skyscrapers. These solar and wind powered buildings are already planned for Dubai and Moscow, and not only will they be self-sufficient, but they will also generated extra power for area buildings. With the ability to rotate, these truly unique towers allow owners to spin their floor, allowing sunset and sunrise viewings from the same room. Hotel Terra: Jackson Hole's Hot New Green Hotel?

A top new green hotel?

This morning on CNBC, PowerLunch focused on the best new hotels with Travel and Leisure magazine. One of the hotels covered was the Hotel Terra in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, which Travel and Leisure called one of the best new green hotels. Hotel Terra was built with a premium on energy efficiency, such as insulation, ultra efficient windows and other green building techniques. Additionally, the hotel uses as many green products as possible, such as organic cotton towels and linens.
