Green RVs - The Richening of the Eco-Movement

Solar, wind, and bio-fuel powered RV

I'd love to sell everything and move into a small wind, solar, and bio-fuel powered RV - if only I had extra $100,000 + for the vehicle. Oh yeah, and a secure income to travel across the country to demonstrate how simple sustainable living can be.

That's the unbearable feeling I was left with after reading The New York Times The Green RV.

Just as America, the green movement needs Change. The message can't always come from the top down. It can't come from the wealthy - from Al Gore - from people that can afford to spend unlimited amounts of money on going green.

Most people in this country can barely afford to buy groceries for the week, or rent, or healthcare. The green movement, the eco-friendly message, must speak to poor people. Until it can do that, it's going nowhere fast.
