Daimler has little vision for Smart?
2,559 sold in JulyDaimler will probably sell about 100,000 Smart cars throughout the world this year, which is nearing current production capacity. Nonetheless, Daimler has no plans to either add new manufacturing capacity or to expand its brand beyond the ForTwo.
With sales and interest increasing, is this a mistake? Is it simply impossible for Daimler to make money off the Smart?
