Jim Cramer's Earth Day 'Green' Stock Picks

Part 1

Jim Cramer is celebrating Earth Day by spending a couple of days trying to make some green with some green investments. His top picks on Monday were First Solar, Foster Wheeler and Shaw Group. Additionally, Jim focused on some green investment misses. Tetra Tech hasn't lived up to expectations yet, but Jim feels it's a keeper. Same for Fuel Tech. On the other hand, it's time to let go of OM Group.

And, if you're looking for a green IPO, Jim suggested Intrepid Potash.

More green investments from Jim Cramer later today.

I can't get excited about Jim Cramer's conversion to green stocks! Nonetheless, it shows how mainstream green investing has become -- which is great!

I've been following green and socially responsible investing for about forty years and have a site that many readers might like to look at. It covers the latest global news and research on green and socially responsible investing. It's at www.investingforthesoul.com

Good luck and best wishes, on Robins
