Will the EPA rule in favor of California's greenhouse plan?

Did the Supreme Court force the EPA's hand?

On April 2, the Supreme Court ruled that CO2 emissions fit the definition of a pollutant. Thus, the EPA can longer simply ignore California's request for a waiver to regulate greenhouse gases in the state of California. According to the Supreme Court, the EPA must act.

And if the EPA does grant California a waiver, the U.S. auto industry will be immediately forced to significantly change. Starting May 22, that is something America will start hearing much about, and if California is granted a waiver, expect to see far more hybrid vehicles on the road.
