Schwarzenegger calls out GOP on the environment

Time to get rid of the Hummer?

Fortune Magazine will feature an article on California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in the next issue, focusing on the Governor's environmental actions. According to press releases the Governor claims some members of both parties don't get the environment, but the GOP has a bigger problem. Moreover, when asked if the global warming debate was becoming too alarmist the Governor responded, "Let's assume for a second that global warming is 10% less of a problem. No matter what percentage you take off, we are in big trouble. That's the reality. We've seen the photographs of glaciers melting. We know that is a phenomenon that is happening. We know that the water is rising. We know that we are polluting the world. All of this is reality."

Time for a Prius and a tofu burger, Mr. Schwarzenegger?
