Pay attention Congress: Zap's solar powered vehicle

A solar powered city solution?

I love Zap. Sure, they sell niche products, but they also think outside-of-the-box, something I believe is key to foreign oil dependency and global warming. While members of Congress hypocritically point fingers at everyone and offer little, innovators, such as Zap, are offering real solutions.

Take the Zebra Zero truck, a $12,000 solar powered electric vehicle. Sure it can only attain speeds of 40 mph, and it has minimal real-world use, but its a step forward, a new way of thinking. The Zebra doesn't blame, it says take action if you believe the words coming out of your mouth.

While Congress keeps talking, companies like Zap are taking action.
