Global warming skeptics to meet down under

Is global warming real?

Global warming is not real according to a bunch of skeptics meeting in Australia and they are publishing a book entitled Nine Facts About Climate Change. "Environmentalism has largely superseded Christianity as the religion of the upper classes in Europe and to a lesser extent in the United States," Ray Evans says in the publication (more).

While I believe that global warming is real and at least partially influenced by humans, I do also believe that there is more that we DO NOT know about global warming than we do know. As a result, I think open mind scientists and academics should listen to the skeptics, many of whom are very qualified scientists in fields involving climate.

To simply say that since the majority of scientists disagree with these dissenters is fact enough, is politics rather than science. At one time, the majority of scientists also laughed at Einstein.

Nonetheless, the technology needed to resolve global warming also resolves many issues regarding energy dependence, and the world is sucking up energy faster than ever. Consequently, even if global warming were to be reversed by nature tomorrow, the technology to fight global warming still has great worth, at least for those with any vision.
