Ethanol pushing Chinese food prices higher

China is now beginning to grow non-grain crops to produce ethanol. While China will continue to use corn for ethanol production, corn-produced ethanol has come under scrutiny in China for its affect on food prices "for corn, soy, wheat and other essential foods nearing record highs in recent weeks".
