KFC goes trans-fat free?
I've decided that since being over-weight is affecting American foreign oil dependency, it's time for Soultek to start addressing healthy eating, particularly organic eating. Besides, going organic, or at least as organic as possible, is better for the environment.
Anyway, according to the AP, Kentucky Fried Chicken is going trans-fat free, and will begin using zero trans fat soybean oil to cook much of its food. The new program should be fully implemented by April 2007.
Back when I didn't care about my diet that chemical in the colonel's chicken made me crave it 'day and night'. Now I rarely eat chicken at all and when I do, I try to eat only organic chicken. Still, maybe I'll have to give a crispy chicken strip a try one of these days when I'm feeling particularly nasty.
