Solar grade silicon ready for ARISE

Just as the sun started to shine on the solar industry again, a shortage in solar grade silicon clouded the day. Many companies, such as ARISE Technologies Corporation, are working on new refinement technologies to help meet the growing demand for silicon. According to a press release, ARISE has made significant gains in this area, "We are pleased with the progress made refining silicon at a laboratory scale. We have been able to develop and demonstrate a new approach to refining high purity solar grade silicon feedstock for photovoltaic (PV) applications.......This is a significant technical milestone for ARISE which validates the direction of its refinement methodology.
