Radiohead's Environmental Hypocrisy

"The whole apparatus of big festivals is not cool. If we could go to them and say, you can only use paper cups, you can't use generators, you have to use solar panels. "You technically can't make it happen. That stresses me out, because I am a hypocrite. As we all are." That's the confession of Radiohead's Thom Yorke, and I agree that most of us are hypocrites. Still, does Mr. Yorke have to continue sell out? Are album sales and ego really more important than conviction? It seems that far too often these days stars feel their words are far more important than their actions.
