California's solar plan passed by panel

A bill that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been strongly promoting that seeks to add solar power to one million new homes in the next 10 years was passed by the Utilities and Commerce Committee of the California Assembly. Still, the bill has several hurdles to overcome before being fully approved. The $2.5 billion bill is an investment in California's future, but it is being criticized by big business - manufacturers and electric utilities - and the electric Unions. Let's go California!
