Electric car goes for land speed record

A high-speed electric car, powered by ABB motors and drives, will attempt to break the land speed record for an electric vehicle on May 5 in Nevada, U.S.. The current record is 245 mph, but the ABB car will try to top 300 mph. (Press Release)
