Washington DC's Metro Adds Zipcar Car-Sharing Services

Metro riders can now also rent cars stationed near Washinton D.C's Metrorail stations.

Zipcar, a leader in the car-sharing business, will offer nearly 50 vehicles, "at or near 44 downtown and remote Metro station locations."

Once a member of Zipcar, it is convenient to schedule a reservation and simple to access your vehicle. At just $8.50 an hour ($59.00/day), including insurance, gas and parking, this self-service car rental makes urban life a lot easier to survive without a car.

Even better, you can try out a hybrid car. Zipcar offers about 20 different models, including the Toyota Prius.
