Interesting press release by Zap regarding progress on the Smart Car Americanized by Zap vehicle. According to ZAP "The car is receiving modifications to meet U.S. Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency standards, including improvements to the structural design, lighting, as well as diagnostic and fueling systems."

As far as when the Smart Car Americanized by Zap goes on sale, the company only stated that it would happen as soon as possible.
