Revolutionary solar cell less than years from market
A new solar cell was created by a Canadian researcher that has the potential to change the world.
According to a Reuter's article, "Researchers at the University of Toronto have invented a flexible plastic solar cell that is said to be five times more efficient than current methods in converting energy from the sun into electrical energy."
This new solar film can convert 30% of the sun's power into electricity, as opposed to today's solar energy systems which convert less than 6% of the sun's power into electricity.
Such an increase in efficiency at today's solar technology prices would forever change the energy market.
