U.S. firmly against Kyoto

The United States is proving that it is not going to support the Kyoto protocol on Monday as U.N. climate change talks began. President Bush quickly withdraw from considering the protocol because it did not include developing nations, such as China, India and Brazil. (Reuters via Yahoo)

In a related story, Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman, hope to revive their U.S. climate bill, as a way of dealing with the goals of the Kyoto pact. "Some of the large business entities, including power generators, will begin for reasons of business efficiency and predictability to press the administration and Congress to do something about climate change," said Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman.
