A challenge to residents of California, and to consumers everywhere

The automotive industry has declared war on the people of California.

Southern Californians, better than any other Americans understand the impact of vehicles on the environment.

Just 50 years ago, Los Angeles was a clean city, in terms of air quality. Now, the air quality takes years off your life. Recent European studies indicate that the last 50 years, world-wide, have significantly impacted global warming, and auto emissions have been a huge part of the problem.

Will it take a knockout punch before we realize the current automotive product is dangerous to the survival of human beings?

Our lives are not even worth $3000.00, the cost of improving emissions by 30%, the amount the auto industry is supposed to achieve - by 2016.

How much profit has the automotive industry made in the last 50 years?

How much environmental damage has been caused by the automotive industry in the last 50 years?

Automakers will spend $60 billion this year alone, subsidizing their current lines of inefficient autos, while people are buying every available Prius hybrid car, even on top of all the mark ups.

Like Enron, and many other corporate scandels, the automotive scandel of gross inefficiency, and coverups - such as the Corvair, Pinto, and SUV rollover - can no longer be tolerated.

They must do more and consumers must demand more from them. They OWE it to us.

Join the hybrid revolution.
