Prius hybrid warranty information

In the past I've provided information on the battery warranty for the Prius hybrid, below is all warranty information.

The basic warranty is 36 months/36,000 miles on everything except normal wear and maintenance.

For hybrid-related components, including the battery, battery control module, hybrid control module and inverter with converter, the warranty is 8 years/100,000 miles. However, many dealers offer the battery warranty at 10 years.

The powertrain has a 60 month/60,000 mile warranty. This covers the engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts and airbags.

The Prius is also covered against 'rust-through' for 60 months.

Additionally, all accessories purchased with a new vehicle are covered for 36 months/36,000 miles. If accessories are purchased after purchasing the vehicle, the warranty is 12 months.

Finally, all hybrid customers are covered by roadside assistance and road hazard insurance for 36 months/36,000 miles.
