Ford Escape Hybrid gets good marks from SmartMoney

SmartMoney magazine included Ford's Escape Hybrid as one of The Hottest New Models in its 2004-2005 Car Buyer's Guide.

Ford has leased Toyota's Prius Hybrid Car technology for its new hybrid car, the first available hybrid SUV. With a 2.3-liter, four-cylinder gas engine and electric motor, this new hybrid will produce the same power as a V-6 and get gas mileage in the low 30s - not bad for an SUV.

So if you have to have an SUV, but want to do the poltically, environmentally, and socially correct thing, check out the Ford Escape Hybrid.
